A natural extension of our Machine Vision, Motion Control and Robotics integration services is our ability to offer a software design and development facility. All aspects of machine related software development are catered for – from initial requirements capture and specification through to development, test and acceptance.
We normally develop systems using the Unified Modelling Language (UML) methodology as we feel it’s flexible and clear structure allows communication of designs to Software Engineers and Managers alike. However, if a customer has a preferred design format we will endeavor to comply.
We offer a broad range of software languages and operating system support on a variety of processors. Supported languages include C#, Visual C++, C++, C, Visual Basic and Assembler, Java, VB6 and VBA for PC and Embedded Systems. Ladder Logic and Sequential Flow Charts for PLCs, plus robot programming for Kuka KRC2 and KRC4 controllers, ABB IRC5 series controllers and ABB programming (Rapid) and Robot Studio simulation.
In addition to direct cell programming we can undertake offline programming and simulation to aid with system planning and minimising development time.
