Loop Technology are thrilled to be returning to JEC World, the leading global composites event, on March 5th-7th 2024 in Paris-Nord Villepinte. We are exhibiting at the Composites UK Pavilion located in Hall 6, Stand S62 and T62.
Our stand will be attended by our Managing Director, Alun Reece, and Business Development Manager, Gary Ottley, who will be delighted to answer any questions you may have including on the exciting news of our participation in the Isothermic High-Rate Sustainable Structures (IHSS) project in Sheffield alongside Boeing, Sprit AeroSystems and AMRC.
We will also be discussing our range of products and solutions including FibreLINE, an end-to-end high rate preform system that substantially accelerates the production of composite structures in the making of aircraft, wind turbines, automobiles and train carriages. FibreLINE is available in several configurations to suit the customer’s specific requirements and the layout is carefully chosen from our product suite which includes:
FibreCUT: Ultrasonic cutting system designed for the edge trimming of composite preforms.
FibreFORM: Revolutionary automation system that picks large composite plies, forms 3D shapes, and places them on to mould tools at rates of up to 200kg per hour.
FibreROLL: Pick and place of composite plies (sheets) using interchangeable storage rollers, applicable across many industries including in the manufacture of wind turbines. JEC Composites refer to the system in development trials at the National Composites Centre achieving a dry fibre deposition rate of over 350kg per hour!
FibreEYE: Advanced inspection system to ensure integrity of composite material.
FibreTACK: Secures plies in place during layup process.
FibreKIT: System to effectively store and sequence plies.
We will also be discussing our next generation robotic arm Bravura, which provides access to spaces that were previously inaccessible to automation. This means sealant dispensers, drills and other tools can be applied with a higher level of accuracy and safety in tight areas like aircraft wing boxes.
Moreover, we will be speaking about LoopCLEAN Auto, our pioneering robotic laser cleaning system that leverages RealPATH software to automatically clean, bypassing the need for CAD and offline programming. It pushes the cleaning of moulds and tools, the preparation of surfaces, as well as sanding and inspection to whole new level of automation.
