What is Bravura?
Bravura is Loop Technology’s novel tool deployment platform, enabling automated accurate deployment of process end effectors within confined and restricted areas of operation.
The compact, lightweight and high-power density design, makes it perfect for numerous applications including fastening, swaging, sealant dispensing and more.
Why?
Bravura’s original design intent specifically targets assembly within closed wing boxes for aerostructures.
This area is currently inaccessible for other automated methods, and is physically intensive for operators to perform.
How does it work?
Bravura can be installed on the end of a robot arm, cartesian axes, an automated guided vehicle (AGV) for a mobile solution, or a combination in order to maximise reach and manoeuvrability.
Scaleup Journey
Last year, Loop were invited to participate in Innovate UK EDGE’s Scaleup Programme.
The programme is available to those disrupting their industries and capable of internationalisation and helps high potential businesses realise their ambitions to bring solutions to market.

Loop’s Scaleup journey has continued throughout 2021 with the exploration and search for external funding to help us deliver our expanding range of innovative products and services.
We have also recently been selected to take part in Innovate UK’s Global Incubator Programme which supports the international expansion of eight promising UK advanced manufacturing companies.
FibreFORM shortlisted for Innovation of the Year Award
We are proud to announce that FibreFORM, our conformal pick and place end effector for large-scale composite preform manufacturing has been shortlisted for Composites UK’s 2021 Industry Awards for the ‘Innovation in Composite Manufacture’ category.
The winner will be announced at the 2021 Awards Dinner held at the National Motorcycle Museum on the 3rd November.
