A consortium consisting of Loop Technology, MTC, Fraunhofer IPA, and HSSMI came together for a ROBOTT-NET Pilot for Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK. The project was to build a demo cell which could provide automated kitting for complex and diverse applications.

The cell was built to be modular and scalable, designed using low cost, commercially available hardware.
It enables Nissan Motor Manufacturing to develop pick and place capabilities for a range of parts into a kit box in a consistent and safe environment.
