Are you our next Stores Assistant?
We are seeking a full time Stores Person/Assistant to work alongside our existing team. The right candidate will have demonstrable aptitude for organisation and self-discipline.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Checking in parts and updating the relevant systems
- Arranging transport/shipping for parts going out
- Managing stock levels for all consumable parts
- Planning your work and reporting on progress and issues
- Manual handling of parts and goods
- Controlling the stores areas
- Maintaining impeccable health and safety
Essential skills and experience:
- Articulate and professional in all settings
- A basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of all elements of Health and Safety
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
Other desirable (not essential) skills and experience:
- Fork lift truck experience
Due to the bespoke nature of our work, few projects are the same, our staff therefore need to have the drive and initiative to be fully engaged in every project and be able to evaluate the best way forward to complete the job. The role will be challenging and rewarding and provides the opportunity to be part of new cutting-edge technologies.
Additional training can/will be provided as necessary.
Remuneration and benefits:
- Salary: £20,000 – £22,500 depending on accomplishment and experience
- 30 days annual leave (including public holidays)
