The right candidate for our Electrical Build Team Leader role will have demonstrable experience leading a team of technicians to build, modify and fault find complex industrial equipment using their combined knowledge and experience.

Systems range from small robotic labelling lines to large scale R&D projects for the aerospace industry.  This role is varied with majority of time being spent at our workshop in Dorchester

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Working on customer sites (sometimes alone and for extended periods of time)
  • Working closely with your team and resolving technical queries
  • Planning work and adapting workflow to the everchanging needs of the company
  • Reporting on progress/issues
  • Building and installing systems
  • Ensuring all work is finished to a very high standard
  • Maintaining impeccable health and safety

Essential skills and experience:

    • Qualified to HNC level (or equivalent/higher)
    • Confident leasing with customers/suppliers in an articulate and professional manner
    • Able to interpret engineering drawings and electrical diagrams
    • High level of organisation and self-discipline
    • Working knowledge of all elements of Health and Safety
    • Must hold a full UK driving licence

  • Other desirable skills and experience:

    • Robotic and/or Automation experience

Remuneration and benefits:

  • Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (commensurate with accomplishment and experience)
