The JEC Composites Innovation Awards identify and reward the most innovative composite solutions worldwide, having involved more than 2,100 companies over the last 27 years.
FibreLINE is a revolutionary product that facilitates the high-rate manufacturing of composite aerostructures such as aircraft wings and fuselage sections as well as smaller parts and components such as fairings, ailerons, nacelles, cowlings and wing tips. It is available in different configurations and is applicable beyond aerospace in industries such as defence, automotive as well as the renewable energy industry for manufacturing wind turbines.
FibreLINE automates the cutting, sorting and sequencing of carbon fibre and other composite material before shaping and placing it onto the designated mould where it is inspected and heat staked, made ready for the next stage of production.
